So ends another chapter to Jasper Gold.
Thank you all for reading thus far. I will take a short hiatus to work on another short project before the next Jasper Gold chapter begins.
For those of you who might be interested, you can pick up a physical copy of Jasper Gold from Jarlidium Press’ online shop!
Jarlidium will also be attending Anthro Con this year June 29th -July 2nd at Pittsburgh, PA.
You can pick up a copy there, as well as other great titles under their press.

This page has an interesting “What now?” feeling. Looking forward to the next chapter whenever you get around to it–I can’t wait to see what becomes of these characters.
This was a good chapter.
Any suggestions for a tune it’d close on if it were a TV show?
Despite the fact that we’ve only seen Jasper walking, not riding a horse, might I suggest this?
Lonesome Cowboy (The classic ending song for the old Lucky Luke comic book series and old animated movies):
I tried to leave a comment, a few weeks ago, including a YouTube link, but it has not appeared here. So whether first time commenters get moderated and moderation hasn’t happened yet, first commenters with links in the post get blocked, or there was a glitch, I don’t know. But whatever the case, I’m trying again, sans link. Here goes:
When I was growing up, I used to read a French-Belgian comic book called Lucky Luke, featuring a cowboy do-gooder, righting wrongs, and forever catching the Dalton brothers who keep escaping from jail… Oh, and he shoots faster than his shadow, and his horse can talk (at least to us, and possibly to him, as well) and play chess. At the end of many of his stories, the mayer/State Governer/US President wants to honor him and give him a medal, only to turn around and find that Lucky Luke is gone… and either the last panel, or even a full splash page, displays Lucky Luke riding away on his horse (Jolly Jumper, a character all on his own) and singing “I’m a poor lonesome cowboy, I’m a long long way from home”
This comic book has had many animated and live movie adaptations, as well as several TV series. On one of the movies, they played the song under the credits.
So if you do a YouTube search for “Lonesome Cowboy Lucky Luke Pat Wood”, you’ll get several videos to try from. Yes, I know that Jasper does not ride a horse, but the lonesome feeling of the scene sure does fit.
So let’s try posting this, without a link, to see if it works.
Luxy Lux! I like Lucky Luke.
Can’t wait to read more!!
Come back next year, and join Spider Forrest, perhaps?
Nevermind – I see you’re in Comicadia. But do return, please.
Where did Chapter 5 go?
Wasn’t there an update for 2019? What happened to it?
